The Chief Maintenance Technician is another  important part of each property's daily operation. The Chief sets the tone for the Maintenance department and is responsible for motivating, inspiring, and leading the team to meet or exceed the expectations of their individual positions. While associates may have different responsibilities, the Chief is responsible for assuring that each person in the Maintenance department is being guided by our core values, vision statement, and company purpose.

 

Keeping everyone in a department engaged and working effectively can be a challenge, but by practicing servant leadership and seeking to understand the perspective of others, a Chief can create a healthy and productive Maintenance team.
